I am getting ready to pull a 904 transmission out of my car and was wondering if the drive shaft is a slip yoke design which will just slide out of the tail shaft? Or, do I need to separate the u-joint?

Thanks, Jeff

I,m gonna assume your car is a 66 Cuda/Valiant/Dart???Should be a slip-yoke as the 65 and down were truion yokes.Hope this helps.

P.S You will beable to tell the difference once you look under the car.If the yoke is bolted to the driveshaft,it,s truion.
