Anyone restore their vent windows, and if so do they need to come off for professional refinishing, or can they be cleaned up in place? If I can resto them without removal, what's the best course of action?

No, the whole thing. I had all the trim polished and they're about the only things left that have pits. I want to take them off and have them refinished.

So I just got my rubber bumper kit, which included the door bumpers. The bumpers included in the kit are longer and much more meaty than the ones in my '68 vert. I bought them on ebay and the seller said I can cut the length down so they'll fit in the hole where they go and they should be fine...

Had hood pins and got rid of them when I recently re-did the body. Found them to be a real PIA and put little scratches in the hood......just my .02$
