Hey Ironmike, I mentioned in a earlier thread that I used the Scarebird system on my Valiant and it workes really well. The only thing that I upgraded was the pads. I used ceramic pads instead of the cheaper ones because I wanted to reduce the brake dust on my wheels. Good luck

Hey Iron Mike I'm running sbp ralleys and and no issues with the calipers. I plan to put on 14 inch steel wheels and poverty dish hubcaps. I've been told that they will work as well. The only problem that you would have using the Scarebird bracket is when you use 13 inch wheels.

I have a 65 Valiant and just converted it to disc brakes using Scarebird's bolt on bracket. I did not have to change spindles because I wanted to stay sbp. His system is a little unusal but it work fine. Other than his bracket, you can get everything from your local auto parts store. I have...
