    Well...Damn. Which part do you want measured? The hub diameter containing the lugs or the hub diameter containing the outer wheel bearing? If it's the hub diameter at the lugs, it's a smidge bigger than six inches, which is a touch bigger than my calipers open up to.

    You have to find Viper calipers. I found a pair for about $350 from a Viper-specific wrecker. They threw in the caliper bolts for nothing when asked, which was a nice bonus...

    And when you do finally get the drum off off, put a bit of anti-seize compound around the hub were the rotor will rest. The next guy that has to remove that drum will thank you...

    Also, most Wilwoods don't have dust seals...Not really designed for someone that wants to run them for 30,000 miles on the street without at least clearing the dust off them when they push pistons back in to change pads.

    Revhendo: thanks. I may be able to grab a set of calipers off a donor car anyway, but we'll see. Did they use the same calipers for everything after '73, except for pin vs. slider?

    Say I decide to round up the parts for an 11.75" rotor conversion on my Valiant, which already has a '73-'76 BBP disc setup. Can I get away with using my a-body calipers or do I need to hunt down a set of later calipers? I've been doing a bunch of reading and this bit wasn't exactly clear...
