count the splines, either 19 or 24, if they are the same number of splines they are inter-changable. make sure they are not for a lock-up as well. kenny b

Drop the tranny pan and look for any metal filings. It sounds like a rear sprag failure. If not, it's always good to change the tranny fluid and filter. kenny b
