    So after talking to Hussey ($364.00 for a pair) and Clark ($308.00 for a pair) plus shipping and the normal 3 to 5 weeks out will probably try Clark being as they do have the material and should be a little cheaper on shipping. Thanks for the responses. Will continue on with the project.

    I have the standard .040 shelf ones. Going thicker and larger bore. Dead soft no fire ring. I was 13.2 with the old combination with .040 gasket. Piston is out over .045 now. Don't want to double up on .o40 is all.

    Erson is who ground the clifford cams. My second cam from Clifford was drop shipped to my house in the erson box with their address on the ups label. The other smaller solids showed currently unavailable. They had five of the .510 left when I ordered mine.

    Was shopping for an extra cam for the slant and found a good deal on Erson cams site for their e470521 cam. It is a decent bracket/hot street cam at .510 with 1.5 or .544 with 1.6 . Normally $175.00 on sale for $119.00 at checkout. Only 4 left now and all their other solids are unavailable...

    If you are talking about the paint brushed B C E ,that is the factory bore size markings. They measured to the hundred of a thousandth and mated pistons the same way. They were bored and honed at one place and finished assembled at another station.
