I am re-installing my intake manifold which is made of aluminum. The bolts should be torqued to 20 ft-lbs or so, so it does not get cracked. this is what I am trying to do without a torque wrench. I just might have to go and buy one even if I never use it again.

Hey is there any way of torqueing a bolt to the proper torque spec. without having a proper wrench?
