LBP upgrade for 18" wheel conversion

Are those American Muscle AMR wheels? If so I am running 18x9 front rear on my 72 dart. On the front I bored out the wheel with a hole saw and then a round flapper wheel on a drill. for the center cap I painted my dust cap as close of a.color as I could find. My wheels are charcoal and you can't...

    Anyone running 19” wheels?

I have saw the pics of his before 72bluNblu. I have an older brother with a 71 or 72 Skylark GS 455 that didn't like the looks of the larger wheels but he is catching on now that he has a set on his Regal T. He likes the availability of tire choices as well as the handling. Somethimes it's a...

    Anyone running 19” wheels?

Sorry no spinners. I understand some of the big wheel haters. 19 maybe too much. I thought 17" was at one time too. The 18" I have are a perfect fit for me but the price is tempting to try the 19". 14" & 15" look period correct but with limited availability especially when upgrading to a modern...

    Anyone running 19” wheels?

The opportunity to purchase the same wheel in 19" that is 1/3 of the price. Currently have 17" on it with spacers in the front (mustang bullit wheels). My 18" clear tie rod ends and don't hit the frame with full lock and no spacers and no fender running issues.

    Anyone running 19” wheels?

I currently have one 72 dart with 18x9 wheels and I was planning on purchasing another set for my other dart but ran across some wheels that are the same backspacing and offset as my 18" but they're 19x8.5 I like the look of the 18" but I don't know how much going up 1" would change. I have...

Appropriate Wheel Offset for 18" Wheels?

I ordered 4 of the AMR charcoal wheels for my dart project. I haven't done a test mount yet but hopefully will this weekend. I don't ahve tires for them yet but hope to run the 275/35/18 like BBSwinger but i will have these on all 4 corners. I will be running (eventually) a 8.8 explorer rear...

18x9 & 18x10 GT500 wheels on a Dart with mods. Is it possible?

Thanks 72BBswinger. If the guy still has these locally when i get paid next I am going to buy them. He has 3 18x10's but they are still cheaper than ordering two of them. All three are new but one got scuffed up during shipment to him so they sent him a new one. It's scuffed up on the backside...

18x9 & 18x10 GT500 wheels on a Dart with mods. Is it possible?

This is regarding the possibility of fitting some American Muscle GT500 wheels on a 72 Dart with 73 and up front disk brakes and A body 8 3/4 (or even a explorer 8.8) rear and with 3" mini-tub with springs relocated. Here are the specs: Front: 18x9 6.2" (157 mm) backspacing / 1.2" (+30mm)...

Mustang bullit wheels, what wheel caps are you guys using?

I have a set of original wheel caps but they will not work on the front wheels. Any suggestions? I thought I read about chain link fence post caps but how would you keep them secured in place.

Anyone have 17 inch mustang wheels on their mopar ?

I have a 72 Dart with a 1965 B body rear, 73+ front disc brakes, 1/4" billet spacer on the front. Carefully use a drill bit or carbide bit and clean out the beveled edge where the snout of the disc brake rotor enters the wheel. Without doing this you can not quite get away with the 1/4" spacer...

    Longer wheel studs-where to buy?

I am putting 2003 Mustang GT Bullitt rims with a 1/4" spacer on my 72 dodge dart with 74 Duster front disc brakes. Would like to put longer wheel studs on to make up the 1/4" spacer for more thread engagement. Local Oriellys and Advance Auto Parts were no help. Anyone have any suggestions.
