    1969 Dart Swinger 340 4 Speed

Very nice build, love the T5 and saddle color combo. I have a 69 Coronet R/T, the same color combo. When my car was fairly new the original owner had it repainted a little darker, it does look better than the original T5. Absolutely stunning! Will be watching the rest. Carry on!

1966 Factory V8 Valiant Signet Restoration For My Other Daughter

I have heard that Pirate Jacks reproductions are a little shorter and just a little different, but as close as a person can get. I haven't ever seen one or seen one beside a real Bendix.

1966 Factory V8 Valiant Signet Restoration For My Other Daughter

I helped a friend put a 392 Hemi in a 58 Plymouth, "his Christine car" We did a disc brake swap, and he wanted power brakes. He had a 73 A Body booster and it hit the valve cover. What to do? We found an early A Body 67-72 booster, it fit but it was close.

Do you mean, like the Hemi brackets? That Bendix is a large booster. The 67-72 use the offset brackets to get it up off of the valve cover. I'm sure you know more than I do. Keep us updated, if it works or what you have to do. I read your post's every night.

1966 Factory V8 Valiant Signet Restoration For My Other Daughter

The A Body 67-72 Midland dual diaphragm are the smaller diameter. The 67-69 appear to be a little shorter and could be smaller in diameter than the 70-72. Hopefully the one you have works for you. I think Harmon Brakes has rebuilt units for sale. I'm getting ready to send one in to get...

1966 Factory V8 Valiant Signet Restoration For My Other Daughter

Do you have enough room for the big Bendix dual diaphragm booster? I have never seen one of them in an A Body. Fantastic build otherwise, Hell-all of your builds are the best! I wish I could get stuff done like you do.

    1967 Dodge Dart 270

Nice progress! A suggestion while you have your transmission apart-install an A&A part throttle kickdown kit. It makes driving the little 273, a lot more enjoyable. You wouldn't be sorry. I think they cost right at $100.00.

    1967 Dodge Dart 270

Is that white assembly grease on the cam? Probably not the best choice. I also have a 67 Dart 270, mine only has 74000 miles on it, runs like a new one, So I'm leaving it alone for now.

    Fasteners at John Deere.

Back many years ago, my brother worked at an International Implement dealer. The front main bearing, the 307 was going bad in his 69 Dart Swinger 4 speed. He found a bearing on the shelf that had more bigger balls with the correct snap ring groove. Then a couple years later, I needed one for my...

    My New project 1973 Challenger

Easy way to get trunk open with back seat out- Duct tape a straight screwdriver to the end of a broom handle, the blade of the screwdriver has to be small or slender enough to fit in the slot beside the little peg thing that is in the hole. All you need is a flashlight and a steady hand. Sure...

    My New project 1973 Challenger

I would leave the column shifter in it if it was mine. My oldest brother ordered a 72 Challenger Rallye 340. Still has it today, 1 owner. He ordered his with the column shift, I always thought it was pretty neat, don't see it very often.

I too, will put one of my A Body setups in my 67 Dart. It is going to need a custom upper cable from the screw on speedometer to the servo. I found a couple places that say they can do it. The 75 bottom cable will fit yo ur 67

Bob's Component Resto Part 12: Factory Cruise Control

If anyone is messing with factory Mopar cruise control setups, and having problems with the button or the resume-on-off slide sticking-DO NOT lube them with anything! I've always kept all of the CC stuff off of the cars that I've parted out. Had several with sticking buttons, If you spray them...

new project is coming ! 1938 Plymouth

Very nice work on a great car. Your 38 is a P6 though. The P5's didn't have vent windows and the 3 bar trim around the gauges. Keep the pictures coming. I wish my 38 sedan was that far along. Keep up the nice work!

What engine do you have there? I see it has a cast crank harmonic balancer. Is it a 73 340 or 360, if so does it have the correct flywheel? If you have it under control, disregard this reply. Good Luck!

    67 Dart 270...Project Old School

Nice car! I see it's a factory air car-sure would be nice in this heat we're having. I to, have a 67 Dart, 273 with working factory air with R12. It's black with a white interior. I take it out on road trips all of the time, only because the air works. I would not drive it at all if it...
