Another vote for scrapping the GER converter. They are paperweights. I knew a guy who had one in a Coronet. It was supposed to be around 2800 stall. It stalled to 7000! I've heard stories from other people about GER converters being filled with shotblasting media.

Sell em both! Get the RPM Air Gap and a modern Holley. Manifold technology has come a long way since that Tarantula was designed. Hot Rod did a test last year on a 383 using a bunch of different manifolds and the RPM Air Gap outperformed an old Edelbrock single plane by a mile. I don't remember...

You can get more lift with less duration with other grinds. Don't forget that your net lift will be lower with a solid because of lash. I'd look at a Lunati Voodoo grind if I were you.
