I heard Austin Machine Shop does great work. I would contact someone from Mopar Muscle Club Austin and see if they have good recommendations. I used Inertia Motorsports. They only do GenIII HEMI. The guy I new up there was a member here but unfortunately he passed away 2 years ago.

Valve seat issues where with early head. Most people adding power will rework heads anyhow, especially to get the all the power out of that block. I have an 04 5.7. And have had no issue and it gets drivin and pretty hard too.

Nice build. What did you do for the early heads. I have early heads and a set of eagle heads I was going to install. I would much rather keep the early heads.

If he goes with with 360 or even a hp 318 will his rear hold up. I could not find what rear he has didn't they come with 7 1/4 or 8 1/4. I know an 8 1/4 will hold up. So like before what was stated look at the whole picture of what you want what you can afford and how long you want to be working...

Yep mine started rusting at collector at 2.5 years. Sucks
