I’m also using a Hurst Promatic cable shifter & it came with its own shift lever, so I’m not using any of the stock linkage

Purchased the 904 used, Smallblock 1970, it didn’t come with any levers, I’m using the Lokar kickdown cable setup, so I’ll assume that any style will work! Is that correct?

Hmmm That is what I was afraid of, year specific or engineering! It was a thought, the motor seems in working order, so replacements it may have to be, the project has a long way too go before that phase thank you! This site has an amazing amount on knowledge/ "been there, tried that" Thanks FABO
