Mopar made ODs for GM to put in 1/2 tons . They came with both iron and aluminum cases.

Will the new handle slip into the shifter all the way ? If so then I would (and have ) drill the holes . Just make sure the holes line up .

The pedal assembly alone can cause many problems .

Looks like great start. Most of the pieces aee there and its a 69 which makes some trim cheaper to attain . And its a Notchback which makes it rare. Keep it as it is .

If you are not experienced mechanically this could turn into a project you regret . I would leave it as an automatic . Besides it will be worth more in original configuration. Pics please .....

I got this with 2 833s I just bought. Seller was not sure what it was for . Is this a Lakewood for a small block mopar ? No part #s I can find ... Whats it worth ? I have no use for it at the moment.

Hmmm... unless I am having a senior moment I am pretty sure I use a 9/16" wrench on both my intake and bellhousing . Unless you are referring to the lower 2 and starter mounting bolts. I think 273s used smaller intake bolts ? But its been a while since I messed with one .

Some impacts can put out a butt load of torque . You probably have a feel for yours but many wont . I would just recommend a good snug with an open end or to under 35 ft-lbs with Torque Wrench . An intake is 25 using same bolts .

If the clutch itself is functioning fine but the pedal does not return I would suspect the pedal shaft bearing. The pedal itself should return because it is not fastened to the fork.

I believe the OP had issues . I was just pointing out that Soucerer was happywith his and that is great . Also that he is from Quebec so most likely speaks French Canadien and the translation comes out a bit different.

I don't think we should be dissapointed that some people are hapy with them .... I think that lost something in translation .
