Also could be the meticulous bending of the "cat whiskers" if you have installed a replacement signal switch. Takes a while to get them just right.

The relays perform the same it's just the clutch switch will now ground which ever relay you decide to go with. If you use it that is....

I wonder if wrapping the flasher in heavy foil would help....

Could the battery have shifted and pulled the ground from the core support?

Looks like a few voltage drop issues. Bulkhead connections are biting you in the butt!

Need a little more info on ignition system and components. Could be an internal short in the coil. Anything piggybacked off the coil circuit?

I recently went through this with a friends car. We pulled the "NEW" aftermarket distributor and went with a known good OEM unit then had to swap out the new orange box for a used chrome one to get a good blue spark....

Do you have a ground strap from engine to firewall?

Ok so we know coil is producing a spark when you interrupt the power via key. Problem is narrowed to either no signal from the distributor or bad module or module / engine ground.... Also check reluctor gap with an 0.006 plastic or paper gauge and try reversing polarity on distributor connector.

Headlights draw a lot more AMPS than the ignition and it is quite possible you have voltage drop through the bulkhead connectors amplifying the typical low output of Mopar alternators at idle......

The black two wire connector that goes to it is for the A/C pressure switch or a vacuum solenoid......

The empty shell stuck above the relay looks like the seat belt buzzer housing. I bet if you pull it down it will have a part# to verify this.

Some models had a light on buzzer option but most of those are black wires..... Looks like a seat belt buzzer connector.

Ok so is this happening when the fans come on or try to? Voltage drop in the system... Bulkhead connector.....
