Are all 66-76 a body hood hinges the same?

there is a small breather hole in the diagram and if you immerse them you will damage the contacts. If they don't work you can clean them with most anything you like because either the contacts or the coil is burnt up.

I saw one 20+ years ago if I remember correctly it looked ok. I tthink the body lines were fine.

FYI not all feather dusters came with all the weight saving panels. Mine has the bumpers and hood but the deck lid is all steel. Unless a some point someone changed it with a correct color steel one. Also one thing I found on mine is the door glass is some 0.020" thinner than other duster glass...

73 up duster find a feather duster hood. It has aluminum reinforcing structure. the way u can tell is around the edges instead of spot welds there are crimps that hold the to pieces togather.

I was cleaning up a couple of diffrent sets of door glass for my duster. I have a pair of tinted from a 74 duster with air and the original non tinted from my 76 feather duster. Any how I noticed that the tinted glass was a lot thicker 0.2250" v/s 0.1850" than the non tinted glass. has any one...

FWI Mine would only leak while driving with the wipers on. so if it dosent leak try turning the wipers on.

Unfortunately it looks like that service no longer is avalable. It did tell me that according to my vin# that I had a 66 (it's a 76) valiant with special order 6 cyl made in St louis.

Well I have the whole car disassembled now so I think I'm going to make some "saw horses" or stands of some sort and paint It all in pieces that way I wont have any paint lines to worry about.

Thing is I got my paint online and I don't know if the single stage paint will match real good. I'm hopping to only have to paint this car once so I want to do the best job with the resorces I have avalible. Thanks to all who have offered advice. I apreciate it very much.

I have a Century at home that I weld a lot with It works ok but its not half as good as the Lincoln we have at work. If I had to get a new one I'd by a Lincoln or Miller.
