mod5v, Sorry that link doesn't work for you. It works fine for my 72. I tried it this morning. Maybe it has something to do with the year 76 ?? I also tried it for your car and it won't work.
Maybe another member has an idea or can decode for you.
Thanks 6pk. I'm just curious. From what I've read a feather duster should have a 7 1/4 rear and ?2.45? gears. The original parts are long gone.
I'm more wanting to know the original paint and trim options. I can tell you it was a bench seat,dark metalic brown, 4sp O/D, no a/c, and dose have the aluminum backed bumpers and hood.
it now has a 71 V8 K-frame and 8 3/4 w/323 suregrip. manual steering and manual disk brakes with 4.5" bolt pattern.

I tried the link changing the year of your car to 74. This is what I came up with.
E24 - 6 cyl
D24 - 4 spd
G - St. Louis Plant
A1Y3 - Cloth & Vinyl Bench / Light Gold
A31 - 3.91 HP axle package
B43 - Manual Brakes
R11 - AM Radio
Don't know if all of the codes are the same for a 76, but several of them are the same for several years. With you saying original exterior color was dark brown metallic, could very well have been a light gold interior.

i doubt it....anything beyond 74 is pretty much non existant in cyberspace. above 74 is hard to do as well, as codes changed alot on somethings.
FWIW, many of these codes are valid for '76-'80 F-bodies (Aspen & Volare), so some might work for later A-bodies, too:
