    Picked up another car!

That's my favorite year Dart. Looks good, too. Mine also, Would trade the Challenger for the right 71 Dart. Would love to have it green, but the darker green with a black tail stripe, 340 or 360 and it needs to be a 4 speed. Kevin

Reunited, and it feels so gooood!

Great story Geoff, I have a similar story myself, I purchased my 74 Challenger in 1997 from the original owner in 1997. The car was painted black at the time. It did run and drive but the trans. was not working well. His story goes when he returned from Vietnam in 1973 he wanted a Challenger in...

    quick subframe connectors question

diymirage, I built and installed the same subframe connectors following the plans by trailbeast for a 69 valiant I had. If I recall I used .125 2x3 tube also. it was tight going on the rear but nothing a small bottle jack couldn't handle. I built four boxes to set the car on so the chassis was...

    3 ways yes....but which is easiest? !

Jeff if you're doing it with out a lift in your garage make yourself a set of these for the four corners. It eliminates the jack stands being it the way. I made these out of 2x12's and 2x8's. They have enough height to make working under the car a little easier. If you would like more info on...

    3 ways yes....but which is easiest? !

I would pull the trans from the bottom. When I rebuilt the trans on my Challenger about a month after installing the rebuilt engine I pulled from the bottom. about 2 to 3 hours worth of work taking my time and not rushing it. Kevin

This is my neighbor Mario, lives right around the corner from me. It is a very nice car and pretty much his daily driver. Mario is a wealth of knowledge on early Novas and can find just about any parts you might need for them. Kevin

    My brand new radiator... destroyed.

Here's mine (74 Challenger) 1/8"x1" stainless flat bar bent and twisted. Bolted to head where the battery ground strap is and to the subframe under the battery. Used this same style in the 90's on a 72 340 duster for speed that went mid 12's at 108

    92-93 Dakota exhaust manifolds ?

Yes the Dakota manifold should work but the exhaust exit is closer to the firewall so it will lead to more heat transfer into the cabin. Also be aware that all the manifolds are not 2 1/8 outlet size the majority were 1 7/8 outlet. The casting numbers I used were Passenger side is a Jeep Grand...

    92-93 Dakota exhaust manifolds ?

Also this posted in original post. Arrow points to the area I sanded. 1 more thing I seen another member here do something similar with the manifold head pipe bolts, so I took his ideal and came up with this as an anti-rotation for the head of the bolt, no more fighting to get a wrench on the...

Washing the 69 Valiant, taking a bunch of pictures and putting it up for sale. Time to just stick to the Challenger for now.

75 valiant build, go back stock /6 or v8

From experience the back glass from the four door will not fit. At least it did not fit on a 73 dodge dart swinger. I do not see it working in a Plymouth Valiant either. Width should be the same but the height of the glass will be different do to the angle of the glass from a 4 door to a 2 door...

Won many a street race with this combo in Escondido Ca. back in the day. 1972 340 Duster 3 speed manual brakes, manual steering car. pulled tired 340 out and sold it for $500 dollars which is what I paid for the car.
