    Ended up 14° btdc 38° 3000 rpm all in no vacuum. Idle is perfect and has nice crisp acceleration 13.5 Afr. At idle.

    got it brand new one of the fancy digital ones. Going to try external battery. If that doesn't work going to take it back and get the cheaper one and try it.

    I spoke with the engine builder and he said 41° is where it made its most power. And I could lower it to the 36 to 38 settings

    Timing 41 ° total timing. 496 stroker bb .is this ok . Cars runs grate no vacuum advance hooked up. Was thinking of hooking up the advance for a better idle. Was thinking it would make it run cooler in traffic. Any input. Tuned on Dyno. ( not by me ) I'm kinda a layman when it comes to this...

    ok thanks guys I can always count on you all . I will run them this weekend and let you all know how it turns out I will also check side to side to make sure there are enough shims and wile doing that I can check to make sure roller are centered on stems

    I didn't do the initial adjustment the engine builder did before the dyno brake in of the cam and rings . they did a few dyno runs after brake in and then I ran the car about 1000 miles changed oil and added the comp cams brake in oil again and then had them cut the filter open and it all looked...

    That was the correct answer it has iron heads and low compresion pistons and makes oodles of torque 608 ftpd on dyno torque low in rpms and hp high in rpms i really thank it will be a handfull with the four speed behind it centerforce clutch should get it back to the 8 3/4
