Can i use these 70 charger seats

1970- early 71 actually. The hinge covers bring as much as the frames. Need A body tracks as stated. B/E tracks have a different bolt spacing to the floor than A body. Matching a cover for the rear seat might be tricky.

    70-76 Dart/Duster aluminum gauge panel

That is nice work. Looks good with the original bezel boarder. I used the ABS bezel but I bought mine back when they first came out and paid like only 85.00 for it. Now they are 250.00 which is just stupid.

72 dart dash / bezel issue

They changed that bezel, heat controller and dash frame in 73. The one in the first post is a 73-76 bezel. The one in the 2nd post is a 72 only bezel.

    Swapping bench to buckets

The plates go in like so. The bucket outer tracks use different holes than the bench tracks. They have little body plugs for the bench track holes. There are dimples for all the bucket tracks. The floors are the same but the bucket seats changed in 70 as well as the tracks. You'll want the 67-69...

4 bow / six bow headliner

I would think so. The 71-4 B body used the same roof rail structure and went from 6-bow in 71-2 to 4-bow in 73-4. If you have access to a 4-bow car you could measure the holes and compare to your 6-bow car.

Are these actually A body seats?

Got a better pic of the hinge cover? Look like 73-up A, 73-74 E body. Tracks look like 73-up A body.

What's needed for stock steering wheel change?

I love the Tuff wheel but I have a Flaming River 16.1 manual box in my Dart. Really hard on a Tuff so that is why I have a 72-4 E body Sport wheel in there. I actually like those wheels too

What's needed for stock steering wheel change?

There is a plate with a bolt that is specific to this horn pad. See my picture. Doubt that anyone makes it so you need to be sure it is included with the setup that you buy. The steering wheel mounts to the column with the nut just like most any other wheel including your S83 wheel. Then the...

What's needed for stock steering wheel change?

Yes they mount the same. Just be sure you get the mounting hardware and horn switch with the S79 wheel that I showed.

Ya S83 shown in the 1st post is that weird one year only rim blow. Not the wood grain style.

What's needed for stock steering wheel change?

The adapter is external and makes the column about 4" longer. Rimblow, Tuff and E body wheels are flatter than the 3 spoke wheels.
  18. moparmarks

What's needed for stock steering wheel change?

No, I'm saying that the S79 does not use the A/B adapter. The Rimblow does. When you get an S79 wheel you need to be sure that you get it's mounting hardware that I've shown in my picture.

What's needed for stock steering wheel change?

I'll correct myself in that the cop cars used a full ring wheel.

What's needed for stock steering wheel change?

The center emblem pops out from the left and you'll find a bolt going to and mounting plate on the horn switch.

What's needed for stock steering wheel change?

The Rimblow and Tuff wheels use the A/B adapter which is not used on the S79 wheel. S79 goes right onto the column. You will need 1970-up S79 wheel as 69 is different. I say up because it was also used on 71-4 cop cars. Pic of the adapter.

Yes . Al Fox in Texas. I've know him for years. You might want to Google him. He has used several names over the years. I think Dante's might still carry his pads which the way you should go. He can put out a nice pad. I said "can".

BE&A doesn't show the 68 pad on his site. When Mike came out with the 71-4 B pad I saw it at Carlisle and Mike wasn't very happy with my comments on it. Was an ABS frame and was as wavy as the ocean. I have used a lot of his other parts and he is a real good guy.

It has been a while since I've used JD so maybe they have changed. We spent 3000.00 have them do a complete 70 Cuda vert interior. Looked good be wouldn't go that route again. Yes ABC uses an original core and they fit real good. Here is one of his E pads. Grain is real close to correct.
