    Pictures of my garage

Thanks for the kudos. It took me about a year to build it. Its Tomy AFX track soldered, and moulded to a one piece track similar to a routed track. I run a trakmate freeware program on an old Dell windows 95 desktop computer for a lap timer. My grandstand needs more HO scale people, and I need...

Mopar Cowboy that's an awesome setup you have. Are you up in the panhandle with all that snow and ice? I'm in Abilene. My setup is a bit smaller at 27x31, plus the house garage. I love the slot car setup too. I built a 4 lane road course, but also wanted to build a drag strip

    Spot weld cutter

Dartfreak75 heres something else for your arsenal. A china freight bucket blaster. It does make one hell of a mess, and sand gets everywhere, but it works great. What helps a lot is big tarps to catch the sand, and to cover up areas you dont want it to get into. It needs to maintain about 100psi...

    Spot weld cutter

And that works great when your separating panels and discarding one of them. If your trying to save both pieces a Blair cutter works the best.

    Spot weld cutter

And that is the whole key part that moparmarks made, dissassembly so the parts can be reused. I have a Blair cutter kit as well. I use it in cases where both pieces need to be dissassembled and reused. If the one side I am removing is junk such as in the case of a rotted floor pan, I dont use...

    Spot weld cutter

1/4" ball rotary file in an inline air die grinder and a home made scraper type chisel with a very sharp edge, and a beefy end to beat on with a hammer. My scraper blade is .063" stainless with an almost razor sharp edge. Grind at the edges of the spot weld all the way around enough to weaken...

    3500W generator I picked up

After reading much on this subject, I think I am going to just run a 10-3 30 amp rated cord into the house through the dog door, plug in my gas heat, a few electrical items and be done with it. Actually hoping that now I have this thing, Murphy's law will determine that I wont ever have to use it.

    3500W generator I picked up

Didnt plan on it. I am well aware of its limitations, as such only the handful of circuits i mentioned will be used. My gas heater, some lights, a TV, and a microwave. I checked the wattage on each item. I'm looking at 2300W total plus some misc LED lights in 2 rooms. This thing runs 3500W. Plus...

    3500W generator I picked up

My shop is not connected to the house. It's a seperate building 15 feet away. Will be running propane, not gasoline. We keep a fairly healty rotating stock of food in the house anyways.

    3500W generator I picked up

Picked up a 110V 3500W generator after last years cold weather fiasco here in Texas. I bet people arent thinking about this. Well, as far as I'm concerned old man winter can go suck a dick. I plan to run a handful of things in the main house like my gas heater, microwave, some lights and TV, and...

Got a free engine stand, modded it into a 4 wheeler one

Thought about it. If I did that I'd need to make it unboltable. This way I can take this thing apart for storage.

Got a free engine stand, modded it into a 4 wheeler one

A co worker gave me a free 3 wheel engine stand. I modded it into a 4 wheel one today. Bought the 2 swivel castors off another fabo member last week. Made the front wheelbase 24". Make it nice and stable. It was missing 2 of the arms. I will need to make 2 of them, unless somebody on here has 2...

    Flashlights

How you solve that battery corrosion issue inside a maglight tube is pretty simple actually. Grease up the batteries, and the inside of the maglite tube with vaseline, or some other light grease. I use Dow Corning DC33 o ring lubricant. If they leak, open it, and shake em right out.
