I say for a street car buy street parts.....An electric pump is more of a race part and more at home on the track. A mechanical pump will flow with the engine rpm and an electric pump only has one speed. They are more for the track and to run while in the pits.

go electric!! best way to stay cool and not make all the fan noise. Also a little less drag on the engine

They look about the same quality as the Jegs brand that I bought. My seems to be holding up pretty good, you may wanna make sure you get the right height on that so the hood will clear though.
