sorry everyone. I was trying to work on this wile dealing with an injury...turned out i tore two muscles in my back and one in my chest. haven't worked on it because of positions I get under the car. I want to get the car going for the summer so I will keep you all posted Phil

Fluid level looked good.

Adjusted to make linkage tighter...the clutch is defiantly engaging and disengaging properly.

Funny thing is that it looks like a couple of the side cover bolts were not tight. I will try and put tranny in and attempt this fix. Did this issue also cause grinding of gears? I really expected to see my pilot bearing with an issue. Had my pilot bearing go in a different car ( 4 Spd 360)...

never mind, I see your ball stud relocation bracket, and your headers are not like my underchassi. mine are flat where yours are still coming out from the engine compartment on angle. your headers might not work with 4 spd Z bar. you may have do go hydro

Pretty sure your right about that. Drive shaft lengths are the same from dart to dart, and dusters to demons, dart sports. The Yoke may be the same as well, just depends on the spline count. I tried to get a Drive shaft lenth altered and they shaft has some rubbber in it makeing it a pain...

You may want to clarify the question.... do you mean a 4spd consol VS a 4spd Floor shift car? Vs a colum shift? Vs auto? If you are talking about the shifter handle itself, it jets over a couple inches on a consol cas when compared to a floor shift shifter.
