Like color combo as is. Body paint looks good enough from pics to be able to fix areas to match/blend.
Complete body color change is alot of $ even before bodywork is added in.
Black carpet good. Might be able to find another bench seat and dye it to color for alot less than $900....
If $ no...
In the past i have used marine epoxy from local ace hardware. $6
scuff up area good as possible ridding surface rust etc. use newspaper to wrap around after adhesive applied and then tightly with duck or packing tape to dry.
If im thinking of same nuts your talkin about, sometimes need a little pressure from behind as you loosen.
For example, on emblems/etc. if you pull out slightly on emblem putting pressure on nut while loosening, generally will grab and loosen.
64sport, how much did you have to pay for that new age console?????seats?
That looks and fits really, really nice!
Now that's innovative and functional.
D
Pics are a little dark. It looks like less work than I originally said.
Just file the border on selector out till you have clearance. Also I changed to Quiksilver so I had to notch out a spot for reverse lever when shifter in park.
Overeall not that difficult. Go to it.
Thanks.
Yes. Did it in my 67 notchback. At the time couldn't find all necessary shifter parts.
Glad I did, much better shifting ease street/strip.
Just some slight modifications to console shift selector face to give room needed
for B&M shifter. Looks nice also. Don't plan on changing back to stock...
