From what I understand, you can swap collector plates to another collector car (of lesser value) and drive it, as long as it's in your name. (Stand to be corrected on this one) If this is right,then it's definitly worth it if you have multiple vehicles.

I used to go down across the line to a little gas station. They sold ammo and powder etc so before 911 I was able to buy it and bring it across.The border guards all shoot of course so I would meet the Canadian border guys at the range sometimes.The word got to the American guards that I liked...
