Found this on another web site. If it's true the 999 paint code was use for special order paint color not the colors Mopar designated for the cars year. The person who posted it wasn't sure if it's true either. It does sound possible...

The 2 previous posts are right . The passenger mirror was an option. the drivers side was standard equipment. You should be able to find one from most mopar vendors ( Year one , classic industries) companies like that or salvage yards and on this site. Check out the for sale section. Good luck...

If you don't have power to the starter you may have a bad starter relay.

You might be able to. You should remove all the screws holding the cluster bezel to the dash and slide it forward real easy. Be careful not to pull too far out. The wiring harness doesn't have much slack unless you disconnect them from the circuit board in the back. There are two connecting...

This was a good learning experience here for all of us. Always disconnect your battery when messing with wires under your dash until your ready to fire it up or test it. Glad you solved your problem!:thumbup:
