I put offset hangers on and found I could fit a 28x10.5x15 slick. looks like this. Since then I've put the same tyre on 15x10 rimms still with std tubs.

These are 15x8.5s with 47/8 backspace on my 69. Tyres are 28x9x15 slicks which is the same as 275/60/15 Std location springs and no tubbing. See.There are answers in Oz!!!

Agreed. For the street I run M/T ET Street 275/60/15s on 8.5" Centerline Prostocks with 4 7/8" backspace and std tubs. I do however have SS sprigs which raise the rear some and make fitment easier.

This question gets raised a lot on our Aussie mopar forums. I'm pretty sure your valiants have the same rear wheel arch as our 68-71 valiants. If so the consensus over here is that 245 is the widest tyre you'll fit under the rear with no mods and even then the backspace has to be right as it...

Nah mate,fronts are 165/85/15 on 15x4s for the pro street look.
