    Does anyone remember these?

One of my car club buddies in currently building a '64 Fury that still has the original HH-1 'Sandalwood' paint. The paints in good shape so he's going to keep the original. 6.1 Gen 3 Hemi is now under the hood. I still have one of the spouts that I first bought back in the late '60s. Also a...

Amazon.com prices go sky high for out-of-print books. It's their common practice. I suggest you try anywhere else to try and find this book.

    No Mess Oil Change

That never would have worked on my old '77 Ford F250. Because of the designers wet-dream of a design, the oil drain plug was located right in the center of the crossmember that covered the twin I-beam front axles. Whenever you removed the drain plug to drain the oil, the oil would run in four...

Built in work benches, what have you done?

No pic, but I'll try to describe it well enough. Built my first 8-foot long workbench in my 2-car garage when I moved into the house years ago. Built it in the front corner of the garage with 2x4s ledgers lag-bolted through the drywall directly into the wall studs. Then built a framework that...

    Desktop Water Jet cutter

Hey gdrill, read down further into the article. Article says retail price will be $5999 once the company starts production in 2017. Still steep for a hobbyist, but decent price for small business repair or fab shop.

    Want a GOOD creeper

I've got the same creeper shown in the photo and love it. It's plenty strong to hold me and comfortable enough to take a nap in under the car if you get bored with what you're doing or just need to get out of the house for awhile and gonna use 'gotta work on the car' as an excuse - lol. The tool...

    tool consideration

Does it really have a thinner wall or does it just appear to be thinner because since a 12-pt socket has twice as many points it doesn't have the thick wall where the flat is located? I bet if you mike them you'll find they both have the same outside diameter. Which also leads to the question...

    Tool list 2GO

On family truck/camper vacations I always carried enough tools to do a side-of-the-road tune-up if necessary, enough oil to do an oil change, and a gallon of coolant. Of course that wasn't with a classic Mopar. If it was I sure would have added a ballast resister.

    Body Dolly/Cart

Craig, here's some pics from the US Car Tool website Looks simple enough. Let me know how it works out. We used the 4-wheel one that was made by Dutch Bros. (I don't think they're in business anymore) on one of our club builds a couple of years ago. Worked really slick.
