Common cause is a too-lean carb setting causing the extra heat for the 20-minute run time required to break in a flat tappet cam. You can lesson the possibility of discoloration by setting your carb up overly rich prior to cam break-in. Of course, a roller cam doesn't need the break-in time.

Don't know if they'll fit an A-body, but Summit lists a bunch of different 'block hugger' and 'shorty' headers to fit Mopar engines - both small block and 3rd-gen Hemi. Suggest you get on www.summitracing.com and then do a search for both "Mopar block hugger" and "Mopar shorty" and take a look...

Same Dynomax PN on the boxes? I'd check directly with Dynomax before I'd install them on my car. Some salesman have been known to spin things for their benefit. If I'd been the salesman, I would've made sure you got two identical mufflers for your application.

I'll echo what GTXperience said. Best price is found at a show they're attending. I only live a few miles from their factory but it was worth it to purchase my TTI's at either Spring Fling, Fall Fling, or MATS. Then I could just pick them up at their factory in Corona when they were ready...
