CNC machined Six Pack air cleaners

Just slightly off the subject...has the company given any thought to single-4 bbl. billet CNC machined air cleaner assemblies? I would think they would have a much larger market.

    Three guesses why no fuel.

Did anybody check to see if there is actually fuel in the gas tank? Years ago I worked with a lady who had just bought a brand new car, drove it just a few miles from the dealership when it died and wouldn't restart. The dealership had it towed back to their service department and spent 3 days...

    3/8 vs 5/16 fuel lines

I know it doesn't sound like much of an increase to go from a 5/16-dia. line to a 3/8-dia. But it's a 44% increase in cross-sectional area. So, yeah, it is kind of a big deal.

    Time for a new Carb

I agree with both sireland67 and j par regarding the Street Demon carbs. If all you're interested in is cruising then i think it's the best carb for you. I also agree with dano, don't but a carb from Classic Industries. Check out either Summit or Jegs for best price and much better customer...

New fuel system for the Dart

Sorry, but I have to ask...and I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question. I understand the 3/8" line currently from tank to pump, but why the 1/2" line from current mechanical pump to carb? What's the benefit of the larger pump to carb fuel line?

    Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 EFI

Good points all. I was wondering mainly about the port airflow velocity between a single-plane and dual-plane manifold considering the size difference between the much larger single plenum of a single-plane intake compared to the "split" right/left plenums of a dual-plane manifold.

    Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 EFI

I noticed the kit includes a single-plane intake. What's the thinking between single-plane and dual-plane intakes with sequential EFI? Same street-friendlier attitude with dual-plane intakes and EFI? Or does it make any difference?

    Anybody heard of these?

What I noticed in the video was it seemed he was working the throttle quicker when the "atomizer plate" was installed. That's what caused the quicker revving.

    FiTech EFI system

Yeah, close dimensionally but a fairly large difference in cross-sectional area. -6 (.375" dia.) tube/hose is 44% larger that .3125" dia. tube/hose in cross-sectional area, so theoretically should flow 44% more volume. Correct?

Hey Johnny Pace - If I understand your comments to MuuMuu101, the stock 5/16 gas line is too small to use for the return line to the tank? Please confirm. Thanks!

    annular vs downleg

I talked to the Demon carb folks at SEMA a few years ago about my thoughts that annular boosters may get better mileage because they're more sensitive to signal changes. They confirmed that was accurate.

    clear coating an aluminum intake

    Help me pick a carb!`

From what you said in 360duster's thread I was sure you'd already pulled the trigger and ordered a new 750 Street Demon. I always ran a Holley on my first '69 Dart. In fact, I started off with a 780-cfm vacuum secondary 3310, then went to a 750 double-pumper and finally ended up running a 850...

    Hood Scoops.

One of the best factory shaker scoop designs was on the '74 Pontiac Trans Am I owned back then. It originally had a factory-blocked opening but all it needed was drilling out three rivets for it to be fully-functional. In case of rain all I had to do was put the original factory plate back in...
