Found a place to get early A windsheilds.

Thank you for the information. Once mine is road worthy again, a new windshield will make driving it so much better. Thanks, OldMoparsRule!

Valiant surgery 2. Before I cut

Yea, I completely understand the intimidation factor. In my opinion (please confirm), I do not think you have the support brackets circled in the first and second photo. Even if you do, I doubt you will get all the way up into them with your cutting. True, you will need to drill out the spot...

Valiant surgery 2. Before I cut

I think you will be MUCH happier with doing the full tub because your fender cuts may be higher/lower than the profile of the original tub. You will have to make patch panels that make up the difference. If you go with a full tub, you will have to be careful in mocking it up, but I think you...

Valiant surgery 2. Before I cut

Wow, interesting idea. If you are going to do this, I would recommend that you purchase a set of steel wheel tubs from Summitt or Jegs. You would then completely cut out your existing wheel tubs (to the point they are welded to the fender). You should also do the Spring Relocation at the same...

Who wants to relocate their springs?

I am not sure how that would equate to raising the rear only 1.25 inches. It looks like it would raise the rear a lot more as that mounting location appears to be at least 3 to 4 inches lower than the factory mounting point. What is the pinion angle when all is said and done? Please do...

    can anyone id this

Interesting...I thought the only options were Darts. Once you move to the other family line, I am no help 8) If the only options were Darts, then I stick with my 63/64 Dart idea...If Valiants are now in, then I am no further help :toothy10: Thanks, OldMoparsRule!

What detail products do you use

Your welcome. I did a quick web search, and found a website for them: Link #1 Link #2 The version that I use is a larger plastic bottle called Zymol Cleaner Wax (Link #1). It seems like they may have expanded their line since I last purchased the product. I learned about it from a...

What detail products do you use

I have been using Zymol to detail all of my stuff. I can usually find it at Costco, or at some auto parts stores. It has almost completely brought back the 44 year old finish on my 64 Dart. I HIGHLY recommend this stuff. It is the one that comes in the light blue bottle. Thanks, OldMoparsRule

    body paint in a can

Hello, Do a search for local businesses that sell automotive PPG paint. I found a place in San Diego that has paint codes back to the early 60's (maybe earlier) who can either put the original factory color in a spray paint can, or if they have the car, they can color match it on-site, and mix...
