I put the 5 speed in my 72 dart, the only big problem i had was not cutting enought of the floor out. and you have to cut the whole hump part of the cross member out. lots of work" BUT I LOVE IT" O72D

It's 3/8-16 not 18 u are thinking 5/16-18 maybe

:cheers:Just finished the install tonight.Had to make some modifactions to the tunnel.I put the motor and trans in as one unit and found out you cant remove the trans with the top of the cross member in place, so had to remove the whole thing. I will fab up a cross bar after i put in subframe...

tryed that, i have plenty of peddle and pressure, but i still cant get the clutch to release the problem with the system. the bleeder is before the concentrict bearing. on the pressure line. any help would be great. thanks O72D

Anybody do a 5 speed and had problems bleeding the slave/concentric bearing?? just finshed the install and followed all the directions. bleed the mc/bearing and will not release. need advise. please help O72D
