M&H harness thru Year One.

Years ago I bought a new main wire harness for my '71 Demon 340 with a Rallye dash. I've never found where these yellow wires with the V shaped connector goes to. Any ideas? Thanks

So I was able to pull two fuse connectors out of an old fueblock. I am thinking to put the left one into the open slot of the new fuse block, slap a 20A fuse in it and connect the blue wire from the tach....please say yes?

yes I know it goes to fuse block, but which blade contact on the back does it go to???? At least one of the connections is a "keyed on" so the Tach gets power when the key is on.....but which one?

Nothin' special here, stock coil, tach and fuseblock. I'm a plug and play type of a guy. If someone said take the blue wire and attach it to "x" blade contact....I could sleep happily ever after:thumleft:

Redfish, I think when I reassemble I'm going to attached the heater controls first. I think that will limit the chance of scratching the new chrome plate.

Rocky, thanks for the pic. I find both the gray and blue wires from the Tach. I can't really tell where the blue to the fuse block connects. I have a new blue wire with a blade electrode connect so I want to push it on to a blade on the back side of the block, yes?

Yes I agree. I could have prefessed my reply by saying when you are removing the entire dash bezel.

Side note to those with bad backs, I've just been told about my L5 S1 beein' wonkie. I discovered a real trick for workin under the dash; I take a standard beer cooler on wheels, lay towel on it and it's the perfect height to lay on your back for under dash work.:blob::cheers:

From one GY3 71 Demon 340 owner to another, I am 60% of my way thru replacing my rallye dash right now. I think this is the third time I've taken a dash out and there are many steps and tricks but just follow your notes. Best advice I can give, have a note pad and everything you touch, write it...

On this block pic there's only one open slot, 20A. So then it would be the blade on the backside, do you put a fuse in the empty space? Only one side has the pinch for a fuse.

I have two wires on the back of an indash rallye tach, gray goes to coil side neg but where does the blue blade electrode go? Does it connect to the fuse block 3A INST LPS dual connect on the back side of the block, pic?

I am in need of the Abody Rallye Dash tach wire with the 90degree connector that goes to the fuseblock (pic). Where can I buy that wire? Bill Evans shows it so someone makes it, thankx

Replacing my main under dash harness I broke one of the bulkhead connectors that connects to the backside of the bulkhead in the engine well. Any idea if these are available? Thanks

After all the time and $$$$ putting a new under dash rallye harness in with the upgraded DemonIVR, I start the car only to find the tach is still stuck on 2000rpm. My problem I don't understand electrical stuff. Is there any simple check?

I have one red wire from the tach that I think I have in the 3A fuse. That must have been for the tach light.

Which is the best fuse to get power? The 3A on top, Instrument lights?
