Last year some vendor was advertising an Abody console shifter boot for use with a Pistol Grip shifter. It wasn't Brewers (for sure), anybody remember? I modified a B body that worked but that is now cracked.

Another thing. Either the Ebody short Pistol Grip or the Bbody fits and shifts with no problems. The Hurst Pistol Grips can be mounted on either side of the adapter depending on your likes. I mounted mine on the left side bringing the handle closer since I shrunk a little after my prostate...

Here's a pic of the fiberglas side cover that someone in Michigan made and I just happened to buy a used console and it was attached. I sprayed it black. fits perfect. I glued a piece of console carpet to it. As a note, the original was some form of cardboard.

Here's what they look like with the holes lined-up. The Ebody was the most comfortable and most fun to have....you will never miss a shift. The Bbody comes way back in 2nd and 4th. I had them both in a Demon with buckets.

I've got a set of linkage I took off my Demon. It has an OEM reverse rod and the other two are straight but they worked fine. $50 shipped to you.

Turns out the lever on the side of the trans for the 1-2 linkage had the wrong angle slot in it. I had another, changed it and it works.

Good info, thanks. I've done this before but after a long helpful conversation with Wayne at Brewers, it looks like the side tabs on the trans might not be for an Abody. Pulling them at lunch to get #'s off them.

Just installed the new Demon's 4 spd linkage from Brewers and it won't shift into any gear. Actually, the shorter rod, 3-4, doesn't allow me to adjust it short enough to get to neutral. I can't align the three levers on the bottom of the Abody Hurst shifter box. This Hurst is old and sloppy and...

The Hurst Super Shifter I bought for and Ebody did have that spring on the bottom along with a Pistol Grip shaft. I don't need these rods so I want to make sure what their for before I sell them. Thanks

This is no joke, what direction does the threaded end of the reverse rod go in? Towards the engine? Are these linkage layed out the correct way if you figure the engine is towards the left? Thanks
