I will later, I've seen a lot of Holley carbs, never one like this. The blade assembly is billet aluminum, custom made
The number shows it to be a 830 cfm NASCAR carb
OK, I know it's a Holley 4150 series. Wondering if anyone knows what the pony head insignia means. It's some sort of special carb built for a specific brand of car.
Quick way with a remote starter button- start on one side. When intake valve just closes, adjust exhaust valve. When the exhaust valve starts to open, adjust intake valve.
Should be able to adjust them in 15 minutes or less!
Sorry for long delay. Only 1/4 mile hit: drove through convertor at 200' and basically was cruising the rest of way on rev limiter. Spark plug hole repair blew, so we lost a plug at 1000'. Now getting ready for Indy points meet.
Be careful welding on the brackets. It's very easy to bow the axle tubes. I use a bar/cone set-up that goes through the tubes to keep them straight, especially when welding the ends on.
I can't remember if my car had a return spring. I never liked the diagram style.,you can add a heavy duty spring on the clutch fork to pull the pedal back up.
