I used zip ties instead of hog rings. It simplified things a bit.

Odd thing but the metal plates you get with metal basement support posts work rather nicely

When I recovered my buckets I tossed the old hog rings and used zip ties. Much easier IMHO

My 68 Cuda vert is red. Upper door frames were black. I figured that was so on a nice sunny hot day when you hung your bare arm out the window you would really get the SIZZLE effect

I repaired mine with a fiberglass repair kit that I picked up at a local TSC. Worked quite well and I am not really that handy.
