interior panel repair

Has anyone repaired a interior plastic panel that was missing pieces? One of Barracuda convertible's rear panels has a one inch hole that I would like to repair as I don't want to shell out $350 at this time (plus duty, shipping) to replace it. Would something like JB Weld work or are there repair kits on the market?

I repaired mine with a fiberglass repair kit that I picked up at a local TSC. Worked quite well and I am not really that handy.
