i must stress that you need to neutralize the newly dipped items to a baking soda/water bath or some other Ph basic neutralizer, let dry and coat with something. Evaporust, Primer, Rutoleum, paint, etc. The bare metal will just be a flash rust time bomb. Evaporust can be left on for storage.
