My engine bay looks a little cluttered with the Factory A/C compressor in there. lol I am contemplating if I want to keep the A/C when I do the rebuild. It would be nice but I dont know If I want to mess with it.

I had a similar problem with my filter. I couldnt get that thing off at all. Finally I went over to Sears and bought a oil filter claw wrench. Best decision ever imo. That claw wrench is awesome! Just need a ratchet, extensions, and a socket(I think 1/2). Good luck!

Well from my experience with oil. I learned that Valvoline High Mileage Oil has microscopic bits of rubber in the oil. I guess so when it gets hot the tiny bits of rubber help seal up seals.
