I just want to see some examples of how a cleaned up slant 6 engine bay looks like.
I wanna see something I can look forward to doing to mine.
I have the 225 /6 btw.

You can buy the bracket from Jegs.
I have one on my car and it works good with some minor modifications.
 
not a slant but something to consider

SORRY, I PROVED IM AN IDIOT, i SAW THAT THIS WAS FOR SLANT 6 AFTER a posted!!!!!!


Almost done installing the engine: a few more weeks to finish that and then tackle the wiring:
360 Magnum 1993, stock bottom end w/ hi vol oil pump, CR 9.1
stock magnum heads with multi angle competetion valve job
Hughes valve springs, retainers, keepers(good for up to 550 lift)
Custom ground cam 496/512 int/exh lift, 276/286 durATION, 112 cl
Stock hydraulic roller lifters
MP distributor, 34 degrees total all in by 2600
Bone stock Thermoquad off of an a/t 400 ( 1977), reman by Holley
Crosswind dual plane intake copy of an Edelbrock Air Gap
Drivers exhaust 340 manifold, passenger 360 Magnum RT with large 2 1/4 outlet
Accel Plug wires
904 Torqueflite with 2 quart xtra caspacity
Cheetah reverse manual valve body
Big Hayden tranny cooler
TCI "Street Fighter" converter, supposed to stall between 3000-3500
B and M Megashifter
742 case 3.91 sure grip with Richmond gears
27x20 inch rad with 2 1/2 inch core\
Mechanical and electric fan on
All fluid lines braided stainless

The car weighs 3400 with me in it. I'm really hoping that I can turn 13.50's with it, What do you think??????????

This kind of was a joke from the start but there is a trophy on the air cleaner lid and it was for best engine at a car show from a few years ago. I still cant figure out why they gave it to me considering it was stock and there were chrome power plants everywhere. Guess the judges were sick of seeing every Dart with a V8 in it because they all did the double take when they passed the car and the slant stopped them in their tracks!!

Anyone know where can I find a picture of an original 1964 dodge dart 225 slant 6 engine??
 
Maybe we see to many V8s.But those slants just seem to stand out to me<Kevin.


thats where im at with it...

seems like any mopar show is what a body with a sb in what color... granted there are the BB and hemi cars but you get the point...
 
well yea, but we are going to get some work done on it and I would like to make sure all the parts are in the right place and that it's painted correctly. thanks
