    To get the spindle off the stud you need a pickle fork. And the ball joint is threaded in and requires a special socket to remove it. Most of the ones I have seen and used are 3/4" drive but there are 1/2" drive ones too. They are not real common any more but NAPA does list them and can order...

    My 72 did the same thing.. I replaced all the bushing in the front end and boy did they need it and all is good now and the car handles better too.. I also replaced the rear spring bushings and all 4 shocks.... Its not as bad as you would think to do...Bill:cheers:

    The quick way is to heat the pulley and freeze the pump shaft and the pulley will slide right on but you have to be real quick...But it is your call pressing it on is an option as quoted....Bill

    72 duster power steering help

    The valve on top of the steering box where the hoses attach slides it is held by 2 bolts...The engine must be off you dont have to move it much. Keep adjusting until the steering wheel doesnt move when started...Bill
