    I got a locker in my amx, it makes a bit of noise around corners, once you learn to drive around the corners with a bit of gas it will stay locked up. So far it has held up and it gets beat on pretty good

    front bearing is probably a good guess... the pilot shaft i could see making noise when the clutch is disengaged allowing free play of the clutch disk and etc. But with the clutch engaged locks up the disk to the flywheel making shaft main shaft spin the same speed so the shaft is spinning same...

    Yea, I just come across when a throw out bearing goes bad it makes the noise when pushing the clutch pedal. Only time the throw out bearing should be spinning is when clutch is engaged.. So if the noise is happening in neutral, foot off the clutch pedal the throw out shouldn't be spinning...

    i use line locks, hold the front brakes rev it say 3000 or slow and let off the clutch... i dont run any super wide tires so they spin pretty easy. with my vega i can be going 5mph in 1st and put it to the floor and it just starts to burn the tires.. same in 2nd gear..... if i spray it in 3rd i...

    i run a t5 behind a built 368 amc in amx... a t5 behind a stock amx and a chevy t5 in a vega with 150 shot and no problems.... main thing it no side stepping clutch to do burn outs, missing gears... wheel hop... and if they do break common enough to find a replacement... helps i got two of them...
