I think you're really close John. That plug looks pretty good. What does the center electrode insulator look like down near the bottom? I know it would be just about impossible to get a picture. Are you running the stock heat range plug? Here's a great tutorial from 4secondsflat...

Wow, now on top of crap oil we have **** lifters to contend with. That might explain why I only wiped one lobe/lifter instead of all of them. Maybe it wasn't oil related? I made my own pushrod measuring tool and had my pushrods made by Smith Brothers. So I know that wasn't the problem.

Glad to hear the cam is fine. What a pain in the *** that was for me. So far my new Lunati is good to go with no weird noises after break-in, some tuning and and about 20 miles on it. Keep us updated once you get the new lifters in!

Good to hear it is a relativley minor setback and no cam problems. :) A tube of RTV that wouldn't set? Thats weird man. I used the "Right Stuff" this past weekend and worked great, no cure time.

Nice job Rumble! I drove the RC to the place I'm at now, but really shouldn't have. Brakes sucked, no seat belts or rear view mirror, suspension isn't right, lol! WTF, it's a truck! Nothing better than new steel though and makes the thought of rusty floorpans just a dim memory. :)

Low-key is what I like. Functional instrumentation, controls within reach, brakes that work well, tire sizes orientated towards handling. I like painted steels and dog dish caps, solid color schemes and dark colors. Stealth baby.

If you get a oil pan set, it usually comes with a little tube of RTV black to be applied in the corners at the junction of the rubber front rear and rear seals and the cork gasket. I use no sealer on the cork. It'll just let the cork slip and slide between the pan and pan rail on the block...

Nice job on the fuel pump bracket and mounting position. Protected, yet low enough to self prime from what I can see. I like the master cyl heat shield too. Good job on the tach bracket. Damn, I can't wait to hear that sucker fire!
