Got this one down...was 50.80"...

So far I have found 2 diff listings for driveshafts for 72-73 belv coronet chgr 1st being 50.80" and the 2nd being[71-74] 53.18" both v-8-727/833--8 3/4..weird...seems the yoke size/length must come into play here IDK...and both diameters being 3.25"....

Yes I understand that 73 chgrs didnt come from factory with 383,but any 73 chgr that had 727--8 3/4 rears and v-8's 318-340-400-440 would have the same length driveshaft..this paticular car has a 68 383-727--8 3/4 rear,nothing from factory has been changed in suspension/motor mounts etc..unlike...

None of the above covers 73 charger bblk-727-8 3/4...strange....

Your welcome, been in same boat more than once,sometimes you have to improvise a little,just weigh the pros and cons before you do something to get the desired results and on this deal you'll be okay,I've did it more than once...cutting off your perches and rewelding for 1/2" or less aint worth...

I have reground the centering hole in the spring perches to the offset you need and welded up the excess,a 1/4" aint gonna hurt nothing but will give you more clearance,sway bars will help with the leaning part...I have went up to 1/2" before with no prob but dont get carried away,be sure to...

Yes it's a PS box you have...and the engine pictured is not a 360 by the balancer,possibly a 273/318/340...most likely a 318...you will need to find a pump and brackets and hoses for the PS to work and agree that you need to either replace the PS gear box or flush the one out you have which most...
