    Yes 3310's are hard to beat all around...just off the butt dyno the holley spanked the eddie...now the older avs and afbs were some decent carbs,the new eddies not so much even tho I have a newer one on my ramchgr it's coming off soon for a thermoquad or an avs...

And what Rob said..just build it to run 87,best advice,stay away from the chemicals or risk being like PeeWee Herman...but still want to research/know whats up on this stuff...interesting stuff no matter how old it is and my bet is you cant get some these...

    So you dont just dump the toulene straight into the gas,it must be mixed with the other ingredients?? and which is best bang for the buck,pros and cons??and how do you calculate octane using 87-89 pump gas with these?? and where else can you buy these chemicals besides wal mart and paint...

    True...rb version is longer shaft than b engine distributors,and yes they did make a rb version of the 383,think only 1 or 2 yrs and think 59-60yrs..pretty rare to find one and apparently not popular or special....

    As to why 413-426-440 RB engines are referred to as tall deck and 350-361-383-400 B engines are referred to as low deck..and yes 2 distinct different intakes...

    If your mechanical one is working fine why change unless you plan on pumping more fuel to feed more horses..I have an elect back up on my 360 ramchgr but run on mechanical and the 440 dart is set up for elect but thinking about a mechanical[hi-vol 7-8lbs. pressure] for the street...mechanicals...
