You definitly will not find a better front bench than the factory one, but you could have a custom or modified seat cover done.

Aftermarket maybe, it isn't a rocky mountain. Note that the one in the OP pic is flat and recessed, not bent to the angle of the stock dash.

According to classic industries, 68-74 were cardboard. If you can't find the plastic one, you might consider aluminum.
