Get car as high as you can so that the trans on the jack clears when you slide it under. Make sure all bolt holes are good in case not boogered threads nows the time to fix instead of in car . Also make sure trans is empty and convert has fuild in it and on snout.

Also ck the rear snubber that could be bangin the floor on a hard shift (axle wind up) under full power shifts the axles already wind up a little so no bangin.

this is with buckets but with the bench seat tunnel.

Doesnt the factory call for 6-8 backlash. I like to run mine on the tighter side.

I just did the swap over winter .I needed axles,10x2.5 brks shoes ,drums backing plates,and I had to do mods to the e brk hardware.After all that it made the rear 3/8 in wider on both sides ,ck for room.If you dont want to drill your old rums I have a set for sale already drilled.
