Best thing you can do is make sure you have no binding in the frt and rear suspension . My ss 002/003 with comp 3 ways went just as fast as my caltracs with strange adj .

Im pretty sure the moroso is shorter by 3/4in .

My qa1 drags are stiff on ext even on the loosest setting.

When I was running them I set the frt equal and let the rear be as it is. I was running low 11s this way not a problem.

I used to run the hoosier qtp 27x10.5x15 which is a 255/60 and went 11 teens no problem at all on hook.

the 235 will fit no prob, the 255 will fit with right rim, the 275 need the 3/4 kit and either trim frt lip or move axle back I moved the axle back 1in.

even with one missing by dist it will still get pressure. Ck all the plugs were installed most chevy builders don't know where they go. Can you see the lifters ? how big of a roller cam?

Turn motor over by hand while you are priming it. How fast are you turning the pump? did the drill bog down? remove gauge and see if oil comes out of block.

Still 10.29 at 131.4mph 60ft 1.50-1.49 top hole a nickel preload. I will go to the track in a few weeks and try some preload.

Went to upper hole 1/8 gap preload 18psi shocks on 7 and 4.30 gears from 4.10 . Went from 1.53 to 1.49 all day 10.29 at 131mph. PS with the 002/003 and comp shocks on 50/50 it ran 1.49 also.

I was told the same thing about the dead hooking by another racer also. He said with my ss springs I probably was spinning a little so my wheel speed came up fast . The caltracs its hooking so good that the rpm must drop and I have to find a way to get them back up . All I know is that my car...

I had the SS 002/003, comp 3ways set to 50/50, qa1 drags up frt on the loosest ,race torsion bars and about 3in travel. I would 60ft 1.49-1.51 all day long anytime of year even with a 9.5 or a 8in convert. Everybody told me to get the caltracs so I did. I bought the springs,bars and stepped up...

I run the qa1 R in the frts and the stange adj on rear. Nice looking car how did those valve covers fit mine need to be clearanced.

I think mopar says 40ft lbs on u bolts. I have seen people just impacted them on and never had a problem but I guess if they are to tight they will dent the housing.
