I don’t think anyone in the aftermarket makes a small bolt pattern 14” X 7” non rallye steel wheel. I have a pair of rear small bolt pattern 14”steels wheels that were custom widened to 8” by a place in California according to the guy that restored my ‘68 Barracuda.

For everyone’s info, it’s these ones. They’re 5/8 inch long Sorry I don’t have any extras. If you’re really in a jam you can order the FA 4936 C from Mr. G and paint them flat black.

Are there any issues with look and fit on the Layson’s repros?

The SSBC instructions do not have any measurements. I will go with the larger spindles, so I can mount 14" wheels on the front. I'll 14s in the back, too. Here are some measurements from SSBC website.

This screw is out of my 69 Dart instrument bezel. Just using it as an example for the screw the OP might need in his ‘68 Valiant. I’ve seen them called fillister head screws.

4 speedin, Is it like this screw?

Keep in mind that the studs on the #5 bearing cap will not work unless you mill the cap bolt hole surface down so the stud nut and washers fit between the cap and the oil pump. Even then on my 340 I had to buy 2 way shorter studs than were supplied with the ARP stud kit to make it work.

I’ve got this cam (part number P4452761) in my ‘69 340 and I really like it. My ‘69 Dart ran 13.37 @ 102 MPH with stock heads, stock intake and exhaust manifolds and a 3.23 gear with this cam.
