I've had the same muffler in a 2 1/4 pipe diameter in my Dart for over 20 years. I really like them. The lifetime warranty comes in handy when you have an ignition coil cut out while stomping on it and it blows the inside baffles loose....

I don't know what the deal is with that Gulf Station in Perkinsfield. It never opened and has been sitting closed for about 2 years now.

I recognize Main and Robert Streets and the Foodland at Village Square Mall. I’ll be in the lookout for you in town. Most likely I’ll be in my white ‘66 Bug or my wife’s black Audi A4 convertible. I rarely take my Dart up north but might this summer.

I remember researching at one time what that long clip was for since my valve covers didn’t have it. I think it’s a ‘69 340 only feature. My valve covers must be off a ‘69 318.

I read somewhere it was to protect the wiring harness from the exhaust crossover and choke well on the passenger side. I might be mistaken....

Aircraft Spruce in Branford has 1/4 inch aircraft insulation that has a foil layer on both sides that works great for heat and noise absorption. I used that stuff in combination with Dynamat. Works great.

There's a member here from Gaylord MI named Clint that has a very nice '69 Dart. He used to live in my town and took a work transfer and moved to Gaylord.

I believe 4 speed transmission don’t use them, so I would think it’s okay not to have the braces on an automatic.

I was tired of paying those ridiculous fees too, so I opened an account with Cross Border Pickups which brings parcels from Buffalo across to Mississauga (close to my work) for a very reasonable fee, $7.50-$15.00 depending on parcel size. Hopefully after this virus crap is over we can meet up...

I’ve got a couple on my valve covers that have broken off too. I thought about welding the broken ends up but I figured that would create a unbendable hard spot on the clip. I guess manufacturing a new clip is the best way to go. Look forward to seeing what fix you come up with.

I’d like to see your repair process on those wiring clips.

Dadsbee, I’ve got a bunch of pictures from a survivor ‘69 Dart GTS I took back in ‘98 to try to get the engine colour right on my 340. These are a couple of pictures of that survivor ’69 GTS.

dadsbee, Since you have your radiator out of your car, could you please mic the outer diameter of the rad inlet and outlet ports where the upper and lower hoses go on the rad and post them? I want to confirm if there is a difference in lower and upper rad hose diameters. Hopefully it's not...
