    In the old DC manuals they suggest adding 0.75 " to the arm to the z bar as to accomplish a similar effect . They didn`t specify which pedal system 5.25' or 6 ' so I assumed both would benefit from the longer arm . I modified a 68 318 set of pedals ...

    Notice in the DC manuals under 4 spd section they suggest adding 3/4'"to the z bar arm across the board with no mention of what pivot distance your pedals have 5.25" or 6' ......

    .I have a streetsuper shifter II {body only }for auto -man conversion71 swinger. Can I use this shifter by mounting to an OEM shifter plate and using stock a -body shift rods and arms ??Or what combo as to not cut tunnel or x member ?/Thanks scott
